“Practical Magic 2” is in development, with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in talks to reprise their roles as witchy siblings Sally and Gillian Owens, as reported by Variety.
Warner Bros. made the announcement on TikTok, sharing a snippet from the beloved 1998 romantic fantasy: “It’s official… Practical Magic 2 is on its way!”
Bullock and Kidman are set to produce, according to Variety, with Denise Di Novi, the producer of the original film and known for her work on female-centric movies like “Heathers” and “Little Women.” Akiva Goldsman, the Oscar-winning writer of “A Beautiful Mind” who penned the script for the first film, will be in charge of the screenplay.
