At least 11 people lost their lives, and 30 others were injured when a truck crashed into a bar in the southern Dominican Republic, authorities reported.
The incident occurred early Sunday in the community of Azua, located west of the capital, Santo Domingo, according to government officials cited by the newspaper Listín Diario.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Most of the injured were transported to a nearby hospital, though their current conditions have not yet been disclosed.
